The learning goals for Language Arts (literacy), mathematics, science, history, geography, art, music, society, physical education, second language, information technology and technology have been designed to set high standards and to let you and your children know about the progress they are making.

In mathematics and language arts, children's work will be supported by materials and methods from the national strategies for England. For other subjects, children's work will be supported by the hugley successful themes and learning activities of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). You can find out more about the IPC at

All children from Year 1 will learn French each week. Dutch children will have the opportunity to learn Dutch at this time and all children will also learn Arabic and about Arabic culture.
